Finding A Shared Otherness is a subjective process book, which was part of a larger group exhibition, Shared Otherness, a mixed-media exhibit referencing the community to which USC
and CAAM belong. USC artists and designers mix conceptual and concrete ideas, addressing
their immediate geographical context while also contributing their voices to larger, national
and international, dialogues.

Finding A Shared Otherness acts as a conceptual show catalogue, referencing each artists’
art piece, but through my subjectivity. The final book was then dipped in beeswax, in order to
distance itself from the viewer.
